Where we're focused
Our work sits at the intersection of deeptech, agri-tech, food safety, and public health — sectors where India moves enormous volume through systems that are often slow, centralised, and disconnected from the point where safety is actually decided.
We think that gap is closeable. Closing it is a matter of public health, not just compliance — and it is the space we are building in.
On the name
शोध (śodh) is a Sanskrit verbal root carrying a sense that English splits into two words: to investigate, and to purify. It means to search something until what is left is true — the same root sits behind research, refinement, and correction.
शोधक (śodhak) is the one who does that: an investigator, an examiner, a refiner. In everyday Hindi it is also the word for a purifying agent — the reagent that removes what does not belong, leaving only what does.
We kept both meanings on purpose. The method is investigation. The output is refinement. Nothing ships until it has been through both.

This is a deliberate choice, not secrecy for its own sake. When there is something worth showing, we will show it plainly.
